Tool Applications
The Slotted Wirefinder is employed during wireline fishing tasks to identify and form a ball at the upper end of a fractured wireline within the tubing. Once the wire finder detects the end of the broken wire (evidenced by weight loss), applying slight pressure downwards will create the ball within the wellbore. Subsequently, the wireline can be caught by a wireline grab and retrieved.
Design Features & Benefits
- The slotted wirefinder can be utilized in various tubing sizes, making it adaptable to different wellbore conditions and configurations.
- Connection choices tailored to meet customer needs
- Hexagonal flats provided for safe assembly and disassembly
