Tool Applications
The "R" lock mandrels with flow control components are meant for "R" seating nipples in heavy weight tubing. These lock mandrels, similar in design, are selective and can be installed using their specific running tools. They can be placed in any of the multiple seating nipples of similar size within the tubing string. Once the desired nipple is found, the mandrels are mechanically locked by driving the expander sleeve behind the keys, keeping the mandrel securely in place.
